Heather on Earth was commissioned by Geri, a Mother who lost her 5 year old daughter to a brain tumor. Geri and I had our first meeting and spoke about her daughter Heather for a while in my studio. These initial meetings can also take place on the phone, emailing, and Skype to accommodate all long distance and international clients. Within minutes I got a sense of how spiritual this woman was and about the eternal bond of Love between a Geri and her daughter Heather.
· The 22 rays of white light at the top of the painting represent the 22 letters of the Hebrew Alphabet.
· Just below the rays in the center of the painting are the gates of Heaven and a stairway.
· The mimosa tree that Heather played under when she was a toddler.
· Heather's Annie doll that remained in the Mother’s arms after the child passed away.
· Heather's love of music and the Heart in the center of the painting embedded with musical notes .
· There are three large white birds depicting Heather’s surviving sisters.
· Geri’s husband, symbolized by a peacock, watching everything from the sidelines all the time.
· All the items in the painting are significant to their individual story.

City in Heaven
A young woman passes away from a sudden illness leaving her three young daughters behind. The painting is a comforting reminder in knowing their Mom is always watching over them. We came from the same "City in Heaven", and it is there where we will return.
MCC
A young fireman dies suddenly leaving only the memories of his passion for the ocean, his little white dog, love of fireworks in the night sky over his favorite beach. The beach chairs belong to him and his friends with his famous American flag bandanna, sunglasses and a tube of hand cream always near by. On the horizon the fire truck, and his love of music that would fill the air wherever he would go. " I'm hanging this painting of my son's story in my bedroom so it's the first thing I see when I wake up, and the last thing I see before I go to sleep" |
Carol's Carnivale
"To bring comfort to a grieving parent is an impossible task, yet Anna Laruccia
has done it. Daily, when I look at my painting, Carol's Carnivale, I'm amazed
how it truly represents my daughter Carol's multi faceted personality. The painting has been given a place in my home where all who enter are able to see it and remember the unique, loving woman who no longer walks this earth. Thank you Anna!"

Angel Chrissy
"This painting represents my daughter Chrissy who died in July 2006. The painting on the beach represents her favorite place throughout her life which was at our family home in Southampton. This is a very special place where she said “she would find peace”. The juniper tree represents my husband and I as the backbone of our family. The juniper tree is known to grow around a vortex where spiritual energy is surrounded. The cockatoo walking on the beach represents Merlin (Claw, as Chrissy called him) Chrissy’s bird who loved her so much and must have known Chrissy died because he screamed that entire night. The three peach roses (which were Chrissy’s favorite color rose) planted firmly in the ground represent Chrissy’s three siblings still rooted on earth, and the blue morph butterfly next to them represents how Chrissy shows herself (many times) on earth since her death. The sea shells represent Chrissy’s favorite hobby which was collecting beach stones and shells. In the sky are twinkling stars which represent my son in law, daughter in law, two grandsons and the two upcoming births, one due in Dec
and one in April. In the right corner set in the distance are fireworks, and on the night she died random fireworks went off at
the moment we left her. This painting has served as a source of healing to my family and each time we look at it, we are reminded of the beautiful life Chrissy had and the family that misses her so dearly.
I thank Anna for her God-given gift to interpret our precious family."
